The History of Student Life
by Kelsey Pontius
Within the fifteen year period of growth, Fanjeaux Hall was built in 1927 and was used as both a students’ residence and for dining facilities. It housed about ninety residents and provided a living room where students could meet, study, or simply relax with one another.

Guzman Hall was erected in 1930 and was used for student classrooms and originally held the student library. This allowed students a better classroom environment and a good place to study. Benincasa was purchased in 1935 to be used as a student center and dormitory, providing a lounge area and living spaces similar to that of Fanjeaux Hall.
